BIG Iowa Plains Update, Massey Hesston Baler, and new Rumbler Van!

Celobuki

Celobuki is updating Iowa Plains for the first time since May of last year. This update will require a new game save, but there’s a ton of things being added and changed, like;

• Adding Benji’s Corn Textures
• Changed seasons growth calendar
• Added herbicide, fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, and lime buying station at Jackson’s Farm
• Added a corn dryer and propane – like in Alma Missouri
• And added a Methane Sell Point

In addition to these additions and changes, Celobuki is also doing a few other things, like;

• Added all platinum products to sell points
• Removed relight and changed the lighting
• Added deep snow in winter
• Added snowy road when it snows and wet asphalt during rain
• Leaves on road during autumn
• Greenhouses and juice factory from Alma were added, including 2 greenhouses at main farm
• Removed placeable items from Jackson’s Farm like fences and trees
• Removed small farm near mill

The update for Iowa Plains View should be sent off for testing in the next few days, and again… will require a new gamesave.

Terre D-Acqua Team

The Terre D-Acqua Team have also been working on a map update to their Italian Rice map. This update will include things like;

• Corrected errors
• New productions, including basic rice
• And added dedicated sell points for productions

Their post was quite long, but didn’t say much regarding the update itself, so I’ll leave a link in the description if you want to take a closer look for yourself.

Rooster Mods

Rooster Mods has a new project announcement, the Massey Ferguson 1840 Baler! Well, more of an update, as they put it. This baler has been modded to pull his hay wagon, and includes a few other things including;

• The rear hitch for wagons
• A quarter-turn bale chute
• Hesston Branding, including the 70th Anniversary decals
• American-styled implement wheels
• And a tractor triangle

This modification will turn the bale so the shorter side is facing up and down, and the Hesston branding is always a great touch! Can’t wait to see this one in the game!

Kasztan18

Kasztan18 is working on their own Rumbler Van mod, though this one is a little different. This is modded off an Iveco Daily work van, and features a Hydraulic Pack; maybe to tip the bed, but we don’t know the specifics yet. Kasztan also says if there’s interest, they’ll plan a version with a lift and a bigger package, plus a storage version with dualies! Something tells me there will be plenty of interest. 

Pretty much everything Kasztan makes is for all platforms, and even their PC-Only mods get Console-Friendly branded versions, though we’ll have to wait and see what they do with this one.

WOLFex Modding

WOLFex Modding has another Steyr Tractor, the 4115 Profi, though oddly they never mention the name in the information sheet. Either way, it will;

• Cost you around $120k
• Has 145 hp
• And travels at 32 mph

The 4115 will feature customization for;

• 2016 or 2020 models
• Rims and Tires
• Forestry Cage
• Tractor Triangle
• Beacons
• Steering Wheel
• Colors for Main, Rims, and interior
• And Fenders

The mod also features support for the Passenger Script that came with the Kubota DLC, as well as interactive controls. 

Oddly, there’s also a mod that is almost exactly the same thing already on modhub, as a conversion from FS19, and also includes more engine options by Austria Modding. Usually if there’s enough differences, both can exist at the same time, so only time will tell if we’ll see this mod or not.

Creative Mesh

And lastly today, “epicfarming” on YouTube dropped a video working with CreativeMesh to 3D Scan a John Deere 8R for a model-building project! This is a new service that CreativeMesh offers, and we get to see what goes into scanning for models and that kind of thing. 

It’s not really Farm Sim related, but since Creative Mesh are the ones behind mods like Pumps~N~Hoses and the Emergency Pack, I thought it would be interesting to see what goes into some of their other mods on modhub as well, and beyond!
