Farming Simulator Modding News

Blacksheep Modding

Jumping over to modder news – Blacksheep Modding dropped a message yesterday after the release of their Excavator Liebherr 902 Pack, saying that the custom control encodings seem to have not passed on correctly to console players. If you play with a controller on PC like I do, everything appears to be ok. However, if you’re on PlayStation or Xbox, these controls are likely not working for you. Blacksheep are currently looking into the problem and will get a fix out as soon as possible!

Notready

Notready FS also dropped an announcement that there will be a hotfix releasing to add the “Power Consumer Specialization” to their Lizard Neo & Framest Pack mods that dropped yesterday, as these mods could be pulled by virtually anything and power requirement wasn’t really a thing. This should be fixed up today, as the hotfix is pending release, and may even be out by the time you’re watching this.

OmaTana

OmaTana’s Lizard Tardis XL Mod will also be getting an update soon, as the trailers and combine harvesters in the pack were getting weighed down when too much crop was loaded up. This is because there was no updateMass=”false” code added, however this has been fixed. I believe rim colors are also being added to the combine, which is great news! The update should be back with Giants sometime soon, although with their break starting in a few days, it may be January till we see it.

Gamer Designs

Gamer Designs says that he’s gotten some comments about his trailers being “tipsy” or easy to tip. After some tests, they have found that it’s only an issue when using the 82 Studio Trucks. Both modders are aware of the conflict and will be looking into a solution. At this time, it only appears to be an issue when using 82’s Trucks with Gamer Designs’ Trailers, so that’s good. For the time being, if you are using either, just swap out the trailer or truck, and you should be fine. Gamer Designs also dropped a video on youtube showing this off, if you want to check it out!

Hispano Modding

Hispano Modding shows off their Demco Special Transport Trailers, and they are already in testing! With axle counts of 6, 8, and 10… these trailers can handle the largest and heaviest of loads, helping you get from Point A to Point B with ease! We saw these for the first time a little over a week ago, and they are already on the testing list! That’s wild! ! I’m curious, what piece of equipment do you think would be perfect to use these to transport with? Let me know in the comments!

Adub Modding

Adub Modding is adding even more pieces of equipment from the old Horsch DLC in 17 and 19; showing off the drag hose, tracked tanker, semi-trailer tanker, seed tenders, and the self-propelled sprayer! I’m not sure if these will be in one pack, or if they will be separate, but it’s super nice to see more of this equipment coming back to the game!

Poorboy Modding

We hear from Poorboy Modding on the animal pens for their Jasper Valley map. So far, they have cattle up to 1000 head, Pigs and Sheep up to 500 head, and they are sorting Chickens now. All sellable if you don’t want the pens on the map. Additionally, productions have been simplified and a few removed. Everything left is crop or wood related; nothing over the top like on Mason County.

OH, and it appears Poorboy has added custom animals to the map, like on BallySpring! That’s super awesome! Here we can see animals in other modder’s placeables, showing they can be used with any animal pen on the map! That’s so cool!

Kasztan18

And lastly today, Kasztan18 dropped the changelog for their Zetor Crystal Pack update, and said soon on ModHub. If you are on PC and don’t want to wait, you can download the mod pack right now via the MediaFire link on their Facebook if you wish. We would be here forever if I read out the entire changelog, but as you can see, there’s a ton of stuff on the list from visual fixes to coding: it’s all there! Check out Kasztan linked below to see the full list for yourself!
