Mods In Testing

Today, we’ve got 98 mods on the list.

  • 61 in Stage 1/PC Testing
  • And 37 in Stage 2/Console Testing

We still have 152 mods sitting waiting to be tested. And the current average waiting time for newly submitted mods is about 5 workdays. If you would like to see the full testing, check the bottom of the page for the link.

Farm Sim Show

Today is Friday, which should mean that it’s Farm Sim Show day. However, with some scheduling conflicts, we did the show yesterday instead. We talked about the new DLC, cleared up some confusion about it, and talked about some things that people were expecting to see, but we’re not included, at least right now. If you haven’t seen that already, Definitely go check it out. Linked below!

Farming Simulator Modding News

Custom Modding

Custom Modding have shared some more screenshots of their Challenger MT800 today for the first time since October of last year! They say they want to use this project to reach new levels in the three dimensions of modeling, texturing, and in-game. However, specific information was not announced. I think they are just teasing to lead up to a feature reveal. They do say coming soon, so I will keep you posted once we have more!

It also looks like we may have some more information on their John Deere S700 Series Combines, as they shared this screenshot with the teaser “tomorrow have eyes.” Keep a lookout on their Facebook and Instagram over the weekend!

EY Modding

EY Modding has started the painting process on his John Deere 4020, with most of the customization options finished; including wheels & tires, cabin, and part of the frame. Daily update videos are going up on his YouTube channel, so definitely keep an eye on that to know about this mod first!

Agro Tonho

There may not have been a full Farm Sim News video yesterday, but we talked about the F350 from Agro Tonho and some of its final features. They mentioned in a post two days ago that the MOD is done! And we have a full list of customization options!

  • 8 Rim Models
  • 7 Tires + Sizes
  • 5 Grills with color variations
  • 5 bumper models with color options
  • 3 fender options
  • 5 color options for the interior with 7 color options
  • 3 headlight models
  • Snorkel and LED bars
  • 3 glass shades
  • 3 bull-bars with a 3 point option
  • Wheel spacers
  • Stickers
  • High adjustments
  • And 65 colors in the color pallet

And that’s just the customization options for the truck! There’s also options for the truck beds, including;

  • 4 side extensions with colors
  • Rollcage in 2 colors with lights
  • Liveries
  • Antenna option
  • 4 bumper colors
  • And 5th wheel, gooseneck, and standard hitch options. Pretty sure 5th wheel and gooseneck are the same when it comes to pickup trucks ingame, but they listed it, so there you go

There will also be work-truck beds, with optional side box, gooseneck hitch, and a few other bits. They DID mention in their post 2 days ago that we would see more yesterday, but that post never came. I’ll be keeping an eye out for it over the weekend and will report back on Monday.

Casearias Modding

Casearias Modding have announced their next mod; the Case IH Concord 2400 Cart and SDX Seeder for all platforms! This is a project that they started back in 19, but never finished the mod and forgot about it. Well, they are overhauling the models to bring them up to spec, and then will be releasing them. There’s always something special about a Modder bringing back something like this. Maybe it’s just me. If you’re running a red farm, this is one you’ll want to have for sure!

FSG Modding

FSG Modding have started work on the Old Time Saw Mill, which will be a new production! They are slowly putting it together, with this being the first time that we have seen it in the game. They always do top-notch work and I imagine this will be no different. They also say there’s lots more to come, so stay tuned.

Elk Mountain Modding

Elk Mountain Modding brings us an update to their Ranch Gate, House, Garage, and a new mod they are working on. First up, the garage did fail testing with a few things that have already been fixed and resubmitted. As of late yesterday, the house and gate were still in testing.

Additionally, he shows off something new; the Ranch Sign! Due to licensing and branding, I’m not sure we will see this on modhub unless something changes. So it may just be something fun, but I will keep you posted once we have more information.

Poorboy Modding

Poorboy Modding says if Corn has straw on his maps, then Sunflowers should too: and I agree! He does reiterate that this is straw, and not the stalks of the crop. This is his take on letting players have the ability to make bales from corn and sunflowers. It does not need anything extra to work and gives the ability to do more. I actually use a similar mod from Jos Modding called “Extended Straw Crops” on my own gameplay. The screenshots you are saying right now are from his map Hickory Valley, as he is working on fixing it right now and has removed Cabbage and Rye as they were part of the problem that was sending up errors. Additionally, “Relight” was removed from all of his current maps as he thinks that could be a shader issue as well. Not something wrong with “Relight” itself, just in this particular case. Work continues, and it’s exciting to see so much work going into a map for all platforms to enjoy lots of new things.

Dustydave

Dustydave has an update for us on his upcoming “Ruddlemoor” map, saying that things are getting there. He also provided some screenshots in the winter for us to see the beautiful landscape in the snow! Dustydave is definitely one of the more popular map creators in the history of Farming Simulator, and it is amazing to see him returning.

Puma145

Puma145 has released the teaser trailer for his next map; Bantikow! This is a map that he originally made for FS15 for PC only, then converted it for FS19 for all platforms, and it’s back for round 3. The map has had some improvements and is up to FS22 spec, but the feel and layout seem to be either similar or identical, especially in regards to the fields. In FS19, it included 1 large farm, 22 fields, 3 meadows, and built in Cattle, Pigs, Sheep, and Chickens. I’m excited to see the map first hand in FS22! If you would like to get a teaser of what you can expect, check out Puma145 on YouTube, link below.

MrHector

And lastly today, MrHector has an update for us on his map Carpathian Countryside! It’s been a month or two since we have talked about this map, but he says it is pretty much done apart from a few details. There are still some technical things left to do, but he says it should not be too long before submitting the map for testing! There is a chance he could release a video over the weekend or as soon as possible to show off some placeable items and how you can edit the pre-placed farms on the map. A lot of detail has gone into this map and a lot of time and effort, and most of all care! If you like detail, this is going to be one of the greatest maps out there once it’s released!
