John Deere 8020, Bestway Retriever Update, and Dirt Bike!

Mods In Testing

You’ve probably noticed that the testing list has not been included in the website posts recently. This is because the list has been getting updated by Kermit, who is based out of Chicago and in the Central Time here in the US. I do the news videos a few hours before he gets to the office, so I’ve been posting the testing list on my community page, as well as Facebook and Twitter. So make sure you check those areas throughout the day for updates on the testing list; as well as other important announcements as they happen!

Mad Bear Modding

Jumping over to modder news – After 11 months of silence, we finally have some more information on the John Deere 8020 from Mad Bear Modding! In addition to their collaboration with SiiD Modding, they have also partnered with Schaben Modding to get this mod out to all platforms. But as far as I can tell, neither Mad Bear nor Schaben have any mods on modhub at this point. So, perhaps, take this one with a grain of salt.

Regardless; the 8020 will have 3x different versions;

Basic Version
Industrial
And Forestry

The basic version will be equipped with the original 3-point hitch and quick hitch. Industrial will feature a yellow paint. And the forestry version will be, and I quote; “An industrial version tailored for forestry work.”

Schaben shared quite a few pics of an 8020 back almost 2x weeks ago, which I didn’t talk about as it was unclear what they were up to. And it looks like we’ve finally figured it out! Though, their post made it sound like it’s their own mod and not a collaboration. Either way, I know you’ve been asking about the 8020, so here you go!

Classic American Icons Modding

Next – Classic American Icons dropped quite a few screenshots and videos of their Big Buds; including custom state logos for the doors to add. We get to see the KT 450 in the field driving around, HN 350 discing, and a ride along! Make sure to drop by Classic American Icons’s page to see all the videos!

No new information though, with the exception of these logos and decals that will be on the inside and outside of the tractors. We’ve got;

Gages
A Speaker
Stickers for all the operations
And logos for the doors, including states and custom decals

Classic American Icons does say if you think any are missing, to let them know!

SolarGuy Modding

Yesterday the Bestway Ag Retriever SLT was released, and some people like myself had some issues getting it to work in their games. Creator – SolarGuy Modding – has addressed this and has some great news for us! He says… “The issue with the Retriever SLT was found to be a collision on the attacher at the rear of the trailer. It has been fixed and is back in testing with Giants.”

SolarGuy also clarified how the trailer should work, saying… “The attacher tools that connect to headers, forage harvesters, and 3pts – are automatic. Simply back up and connect and they will change on their own.” So if you’ve had any issues getting it to work, this is why. The update is with Giants right now and as of this morning is in testing.

Agro Tonho

And lastly today, another mod with Giants for testing is the KTM 350 EXC-F Dirt Bike from Agro Tonho. Well, at least that’s what they have said. In a recent comment, Agro Tonho said that the bike is BASED on that, so my guess is they have removed the KTM name to get it on all platforms. This is just a guess, but since everything they do is for all platforms, this is the only way.

Furthermore, Agro Tonho says that their John Deere S7 Combine failed testing, but was fixed up and sent back! Keep an eye on the testing list for this one hopefully in the coming days!
