Mods In Testing

Starting off with the mods testing list. Today, we’ve got 21 mods on the list:

19 in Stage 1 (PC Testing)
2 in Stage 2 (Console Testing)

We still have 237 mods sitting waiting to be tested. And the current average waiting time for newly submitted mods is about 9 workdays.

GDC 23, 24, 25?

GDC, aka the Game Developers Conference, was held in San Francisco a few weeks ago, and Giants Software’s Christian Ammann and Stefan Geiger were there to talk about Farming Simulator, how it came to be, and how Giants Software does things in today’s world. It’s about an hour long, but watching at 1.25x speed isn’t too bad. The only thing to note is, the logos and description say 2023, but was uploaded a few days ago, AND says GDC will be back in 2025… so who knows what to believe anymore.

Sleutjes Modding

Jumping over to modder news – Sleutjes Modding dropped a few more screenshots of their Lizard U-411, aka the Mercedes Unimog 411. Last time we saw this mod was early in its life-cycle, actually around the same time as GDC last month! It is now in-game, and looking good! We’ll have a few customization options, like;

Rims and Tires
Main and Rim Color
Canopy / or cover
Front & rear hitch
Winch
Beacons with different colors
And passenger seating

There could always be more, but that’s what I can see right now. Very cool mod, and great that console players will get something similar to a Unimog! It’s about time!

Custom Modding

Next up – Custom Modding says that their John Deere 9R is “…coming to ModHub in the next few days!” This is the 9R that we’ve been waiting for, with boo-koodles of customization options! Unfortunately, for all the hype around the mod, we really don’t know a whole lot about it, as CM haven’t shared much in the way of specifics. They keep saying it’s “coming next” with a screenshot or two, but no fact sheets or anything like that.

I’ll be interested to see how they do this one, as most of their mods get tons of press ahead of time, including first looks usually a month out. Nothing like that here if it is indeed “…coming to ModHub in the next few days!” We’ll have to wait and see.

Custom Modding finishes by saying that this isn’t the only green mod they are working on and teases this screenshot, though it’s just too blurry to make out. It’s also Grey, so there’s that.

SiiD Modding

If tracks are more your thing, how about the newly redesigned John Deere 9RX? Well, none other than SiiD Modding is taking on this task after the release of his Cargo Mods last week! This is just the start of the project, but nice to see it happening!

Additionally, he was asking for some specifics on the Gleaner S9 Wheel Sizes in the comments of his recent post, so maybe that mod isn’t dead after all!

PeterJ Modding

One name we haven’t talked about in a while is PeterJ Modding, but today he’s here to showcase some Massey Ferguson Industrial Utility Tractors! He actually teased these back a few months ago, but I didn’t say anything because it was unclear what he was up to. Well, I think by now it’s obvious!

Back in FS19, he released the Massey 20 Series, which appear to be very similar, and even shared the 20 naming.

But the new Industrial Utility Tractors for FS22 look to offer lots more customization and features, as you would expect! PeterJ has made some of the most realistic mods on modhub, and his track record for excellent mods speaks for itself. Really looking forward to these!

Gian FS / Agro Mods

How’s about an update on the Micro Tractor Sprayer from GIAN FS and Agro Mods? As of Saturday, they said they were finishing up some final things, and then would be sending it off for testing on all platforms. We’ll have a few different setups, including;

The tractor itself
A sprayer attachment
Spreader attachment
And a special transport trailer

By the looks of it, we’ll have a choice of narrow tires or iron wheels, and rim colors. But that’s just what I can see right now. Sometimes we get some very interesting-looking mods that are actually real-life things, which people like me would never get to see outside Farm Sim, and this is definitely one of those! Very cool!

Bcbuhler Farms

Bcbuhler Farms dropped their weekly “Weekend Update” segment on YouTube late last night, giving a quick demonstration of their Phiber Dash Trailer, how the Chemical Mixing works, and a few new models, like the Gooseneck Trailer, and a peak at the bale autoloading. This pack will definitely be one of the best for realistic players, or those that want to role-play. True Chemical Mixing for Sprayers, and a realistic way to handle everything. What an awesome setup!

Adub Modding

Adub Modding is back with us to show off a few mods – First is the Massey Ferguson MF Bucket Pack that we showed off last week. This is almost done, and he’s added 120 different color configurations to it! Of course, it can be strapped down, and has optional capacities of;

Additionally, the Schluter 2500 Tractor is now with Giants awaiting testing for all platforms. In addition to a long list of mods! Gonna be a big day for Adub once these drop!

Poorboy Modding

And lastly today, Poorboy Modding is updating Willamina! He’s decided to revert back to Version 1.2 and upgrade it with New Trees, Sawmill, and other wood-driven products. He’ll also be adding materials back for a way to process stone. Now, he wants to know if you would like to see the Stone in the cave left on the map, or remove it.
