Mod Testing List
The testing list is still being updated around midday, roughly 3 to 4 hours after these videos are released. Still, let’s take a quick peek at yesterday’s testing list. There are 35 mods on the list, and they are all in the first stage of testing. We still have 259 mods sitting waiting to be tested. And the current average waiting time for newly submitted mods is about 13 workdays.
New Mods Released
There was one mod update that dropped earlier this morning; the John Deere CS 690 Lavender Harvester. This was originally released a few months ago, but was removed from modhub. Well, it is back with version 1001, however there is no changelog, telling me it’s just a re-release. Either way, it’s here so make sure to grab it to make harvesting Lavender on TNT Modding’s Maps much easier.
Additionally, 41 more mods were added to the list. A video showcasing these can be found on the DjGoHam Gaming YouTube and Facebook channels.
LAMMA Community Meetup
The LAMMA Farm Machinery Show will be here soon, on January 17th and 18th next month in Birmingham, UK! Giants Software will be at the event with the FSL, and a group of us Content Creators will be at the event for a special Meet and Greet at the Farming Simulator booth after the FSL Event on Wednesday, January 17th! Blacksheep Modding / Nicko 87
Jumping over to modder news, Blacksheep Modding show off their Liebherr 902 Pack for the first time since originally teasing it back at the beginning of March… almost 9 months ago!
Nicko 87 has posted a short teaser video on his YouTube Channel showing it off. They say 9x tools, but I only saw 7x, and the 2x excavators with tracks or wheels. They are also compatible with the Platinum Expansion and some tools on Modhub, though they don’t say which ones. You can also choose the SAE or BKL joysticks in the customization menu, which I think is a good touch. This mod pack is for all platforms, and should be with Giants soon, if it isn’t already.
JHHG Modding
JHHG Modding looks to be adding the Soucy S-Tech Tracks to his 2010 John Deere 8R Series. He also says the 2016/2018 Series are still in progress with a few new features and options being worked on. JHHG Says these will be on Modhub for all platforms, though we don’t have a timeline for that yet.
82 Studio
82 Studio went live a few days ago, to show off the TLX Hauling Pack, and did some extra work on one of the newly announced beds; the HotShot Bed! This will be for those that don’t need a flatbed, and are ready to get some heavy hauling done! He should be going live again tonight, so make sure to drop by and say “Whatup Dude!”
SiiD Modding
SiiD Modding is bringing another new brand into the game; ProModis! Specifically, he’s bringing 4x different trailers into the game. We know about;
- The D120PL – 12 Ton
- And the J50 – 5 Ton
However, he has yet to announce the other 2x mods. We’ll have to wait and see with those.
He also posted a few new screenshots of the Gleaner, but we don’t have any new information to share.
Adub Modding
Adub Modding has a fun one for us; the Gas Can! This holds 10 liters of fuel, and can be strapped down, in addition to being available in many different colors! It is currently with Giants for testing, and I want to thank Adub Modding for the opportunity to do the screenshots for this mod! That was a lot of fun!
Celobuki
Celobuki has announced he will be working on yet another new map; this time based in Bosnia! This map is based off of the location where they were born, in the heart of Bosnia in the town of Travnik, which lies under a nearby mountain, and the map will depict that. The final project will have lots of beautiful scenes, forests, and small streams running through. He will be working on this map alongside the new American Map which he will start working on after the new year. And as with everything they do, its aim is for all platforms.
Gamer Designs
Speaking of logging, Gamer Designs and Poorboy Modding are currently updating their map; The Interior. While this is being done, GD is also updating Umbreon Valley, with a sneaky peak at the map here. This map will be out the beginning of next year, and he will be finishing it up while Giants are on holiday.
BulletBill
A few days ago we talked about BulletBill’s Wheat and Canola Textures; and BB has released the BarleyTexture Assets, and they can be downloaded from his website. Additionally, he’s released an update to the Wheat Textures, and is redoing the Oat Textures as we speak. These are very cool additions, and if you play on PC, I highly recommend you give them a try if realism is your thing. Or you just like beautiful maps!
FDR Logging
For the logging fans out there, FDR Logging says in their update 1.4, all the processors will now have the ability to cut trees without using the usual x cut button. As soon as the processor head is turned on, a secondary saw becomes active on the main saw, and anytime you lower the saw, it will manually cut the tree without having to “run it” if you know what I mean. This feature is great for cleaning up ugly ends on trees, and also for doing custom lengths! Very cool addition, and leave it up to FDR to change the logging game again!
Farm Sim Game
And lastly today, Farm Sim Game, aka FSG Modding, have released their Green Mountain 4X for PC players on the Davar Itch.io page. Furthermore, the map was in testing a few days ago, but is not on the list, at least as of yesterday. Keep an eye out for this one from FSG!
