Farming Simulator Modding News

Agro Tonho

Agro Tonho have made more progress on their New Holland CS Combine Harvester, with the mod going through its first in-game tests! So far, all we’ve seen is the combine with no logos, and we’re not sure if it will come with any headers or tools. But it’s made a lot of progress in just a few short days, so I’m sure we’ll see more on this one soon!

HR Forst

HR Forst have submitted another mod for testing for all platforms; Clambunk-forwarder versions of the base game Rottne, Ponsse, and Komatsu machines! AND the Rottne and Ponsse forwarders will have winches on them! Not sure why the Komatsu won’t. But you’ll need the Platinum DLC for them to work regardless. Either way, they will all have different customization options and colors. Since they feature a new Clambunk, that will be able to rotate freely or not, allowing you to use them how you need. Also, the trees will automatically be fixed in-place when you close the Clamp, no need to strap them down. Kinda like the way it’s done with the new DLC stuff. A very cool setup for those of you looking for more machinery to use in the forest!

Bcbuhler Farms

As we talked about yesterday, Bcbuhler Farms’ Killbros Auger was submitted for testing over the weekend. He HAS submitted it for all platforms, and thinks it should go through since Killbros is owned by Unverferth, which is a licensed brand in the game. Either way, I’ll keep you updated on this project once more information is available.

And secondly from Bcbuhler Farms, I teased yesterday that he was working on a new mod, and here it is! Well, the start of it anyway. He’s calling it Project 6, although with these colors it looks like a Versatile of some sort to me! And it seems the comments of his video think so too, with the overwhelming majority guessing “Versatile Designation-6 4WD.” And that’s what I think it is as well. But, what do you think? Let me know!

Rooster Mods

Rooster Mods continues to make progress on his Parker 6500 Grain Cart. The model is in-game and things are moving forward. The mod is fully functional with texturing, animations, and decal work still to be done. This will be his 3rd Parker Mod, and the first auger wagon! Very excited to see this one in our mod folders for all platforms!

IJ Creative Design

IJ Creative Design is back with us today with some info on his Lizard AW Trailer. The mod did fail testing yesterday morning on a few things. The mod will need to be completely retextured from scratch, which will take some time. Additionally, he also has another new mod in this pic; the Agri-Weld 1500kg Weight. This mod has already gone through the first round of testing, and is waiting on its second. This will be a PC-Only mod by the looks of it, however a crossplay version will be coming later on, likely Lizard branded.

SrVertex

Earlier this Month, we talked about a new planter coming from SrVertex, and today we get to see some more screenshots of the progress. Currently, real life is getting in the way of him making quick work of it, but he has finished the rough-remodeling work, and next is mapping. Once all that’s done, he’ll re-fit each chassis for the amount of lines. He says the renders aren’t what he would like to share right now, but it’s where it’s at. It’s a great reminder that every modder out there does this for fun and in their spare time. But they still get it done! Modders are awesome!

Gamer Designs

Quick one from Gamer Designs today. He’s been using 82 Studio’s Color Pallet with permissions for his past few mods, but wants to start working on his own color set, and he’s curious as to what you would like to see in it for his future mods? I’m thinking… different shades of Toothpaste Tractor, but that’s probably not exciting for literally anyone else playing this game other than me. (haha) So what do you think would you like to see in Gamer Designs’ Color Pallet? Let him know via the link below!

Oh, and 82 Studio chimed in showing off a new screenshot of the TLX 1982 saying “I’m experimenting with something different… Soon to be revealed!” Oh boy, I can’t wait!

MackTrucker921

Last week, MackTrucker921 asked if you would like to see Scratch Grains added to the feed types on his Eastern NC Map. And today we get to see how he’s going to make it happen! It will work like TMR, with a mixing station for Chicken Feed. This will take;

  • Cracked Corn
  • Wheat
  • Barley
  • Sorghum
  • And Sunflowers

And make Scratch Grains! It will be a placeable included in the productions tab of Eastern NC, and will only be part of this map for now as new feed-types and crops are map-specific if they want to stay crossplay compatible. I think this is a really neat idea, and will bring more options for players to use. And on such a great map as well! I can’t wait!

One quick update from MackTrucker, his Service Truck failed testing yesterday, but it has been fixed and resubmitted, and is back in testing today. I’ve had a few questions about this truck, as it was removed shortly after release a few weeks ago. Hopefully players don’t have to wait too long to get to use it again! OH, and congratulations to MackTrucker for hitting 6 Million Downloads on Modhub! That’s an epic accomplishment, and well-deserved! You earned it buddy!

FSG Modding

Speaking of quick updates, FSG Modding say their Red Barn Pack did fail testing yesterday, but are fixing up the pack and will be submitting it for testing as quickly as possible!

Poorboy Modding

And speaking of modders that hit milestones, Poorboy Modding has just hit 1 Million Downloads on Modhub! Super proud of you dude! But that’s not all, we also have the description and feature-set for his upcoming Black Mountain Map!

Welcome to Montana, the Big Sky Country. This map uses real world terrain from the Big Flat area near Missoula Montana. Most of the map is mountainous forest with some flat farmland in the Northeast. This is a forestry map with limited farming. The cows, sheep, pigs and chickens are on the map and there are enough arable fields for a single player to make a living at farming.

Black Mountain 22 offers

  • Two new crops Alfalfa and Blackbean
  • Soybean straw and Corn Straw, Corn straw added to pigs and cows for feed
  • Several new filltypes include, Coal,Gravel,Dirt and others
  • Carpentry,makes Shingles,Staircase,Prefab walls

  • Farm is completely sellable
  • 90% of fences are sellable
  • Soybean,Sugar Beets,Potato,and Corn have new textures,Soybean in rows
  • And much more…

He’s put a lot of work into this map, and it’s gonna be a lot of fun once it’s released!

Mappers Paradise

A few months ago, we talked about Mappers Paradise working on a Placeables Pack dedicated to Supershoes, with all rewards from modhub going to the Charity, and today the mod pack has started testing! One of which is a chess board for Farm Sim players to play chess in Farm Sim.

Other modders have stepped up to help out, including;

  • Connect Modding
  • Univers Simu Modding
  • Miki Mapper
  • And Nobiax

This pack will be for all platforms. Super Shoes is a charity that concentrates on Cancer Awareness, with their main focus aimed at young teens and children and their wellbeing. Especially during their treatment stages.

TaylorFarms

And lastly today, TaylorFarms has released the Frankenmuth 4x Version for PC players. He hopes you enjoy the map and have fun playing on it! If you find any issues, drop him a line on his Facebook page, and he thanks the community for their support since FS22 released. It does appear there might be an issue with some harvesting contracts, and he asks that you report those as well! The map is based on a real location northwest of Frankenmuth, Michigan. The field layout also closely resembles the area, with 120 fields, 6 prebuilt farms, and plenty to keep you busy! You can download the map via the link in the description, which is his original link.
