Steiger 715 & S7 Specs, Phiber Dash, and 7R!

PAX East Starts this Thursday in Boston, and Giants Software will be attending, alongside some of your favorite creators! And since I’ll be at the event as well, Videos on Thursday and Friday might be a little bit different. I’ve already got a few videos pre-recorded, and I’ll either be recording or streaming mod videos from the event.

There will likely be no news video Friday either, but we should be doing the Farm Sim Show Live as well, since Klutch will be coming too! It’s going to be a fun week, and I can’t wait to share more!

Custom Modding

Jumping over to modder news – Custom Modding has released a short fact-sheet for their upcoming Case IH Steiger 715 Quadtrac!

Pricing starts at $1,067,000
It will have 715 hp with 778 peak
PowerDrive Transmission
Holds 340 Gallons of Fuel, which is 1287 liters
And has a max speed of (they say) 25 mph, more likely 24 in game, or 40 kph

There have also been a few animations teased, like the ability to open the front up. However, a full customization-options list has not been revealed yet. Custom Modding also released a screenshot back in February showing the pricing at $1.35 Million, so I’m not sure if that is the max price, or if they dropped the price for the final version.

We first saw the Steiger 715 Quadtrac on September 20th last year, 6 months ago, and now we are less than 2 weeks away from its release. Custom Modding have said the 715 will drop next Friday; March 29th. So, make sure you keep an eye on Modhub at the end of next week! It’s going to be a good day!

Agro Tonho

Next up, Agro Tonho have also released some specs for one of their upcoming mods; the John Deere S7 Combine Harvester! By the looks of it, there will be two different models to choose from – One is only the 600 model, whereas the other can either be the 700, 800, or 900 version.

The 600 will have;

382 hp
Grain Bins of 8.800, 10.570, or 14.100 liters
With 2x fixed tops and 1x folding option

The other model will have different options;

700 Model will have 460 hp
800 will have 540 hp
And 900 will have 617 hp
Grain Bins of 10.600, 12.600, 14.100, 15.700, and 17.200 liters
3x fixed tops and 1x folding option
And 12x different pipe models of 6.9, 7.9, and 8.7 meters
With 2x different spouts and optional fixed or folding

As for customization options between both versions of the S7, there will be;

Tire brands of Continental, Michelin, Trelleborg, and Lizard Rice Wheels
With Single, Double, and transport tires
And Wide and Narrow Tracks
Front and Rear Signs
3x different straw choppers
Warning stickers
Cameras
3x different exhausts
4x levels of window tint
G4 and G5 Monitors
8x Back Gauge adjustment settings
Numbers from 1-9
Animations for covers, mirrors, stairs, door, steering column, seat, pipe, and signals
And Passenger Support with Kubota DLC

The John Deere S7 Series Combine Harvester from Agro Tonho is shaping up to be one of the highlights of the year for sure, and I’m super excited to see this one live on the modhub!

Dince Modding

Last week we got to see one of the Dince Modding’s John Deere Tractors heading to Modhub – the 8R. And this week we get another one – the 7R! We don’t know a whole lot about this mod yet, more than a few customization options like Warning Signs and GPS, but we do know that it will be submitted for testing either today or tomorrow, and will be for all platforms like the previously mentioned mods today. I’ll keep you posted when we’ve got more info!

Bcbhuler Farms

Bcbhuler Farms dropped some more information on their Phiber Dash Trailers, saying they’ve got most of the basic attaching functions setup. You’ll be able to buy all the components individually and build the trailer yourself! Bc is also planning to have versions pre-built if you don’t want to do it yourself.

There will be animations for the doors, steps, and boom – and once he’s satisfied with the results, he’ll be incorporating chemical mixing into the components of the trailer; though I’m not quite sure how that will work. And don’t forget, there will be a little Dash for smaller farms that don’t have semi trucks or trailers. That way, everyone can use these mods!

MrHector Mods

And lastly today, MrHector Mods dropped a few videos comparing his crops for Carpathian Countryside Version 1.1 versus the base game crops. So far, he’s shown off Wheat, Barley, and Canola – with more to come I’m sure! We get to see everything from planted, to every growth stage, and even what the crops look like after harvesting!

The update will NOT require a new savegame, and will be adding quite a few other things, like barns, weather effects, support for DLC Crops, and much more! Check out MrHector Mods to see everything we’ve talked about since late last year!
