TLX Haulers, 715 w/Wheels, John Deere 9R, and more!

82 Studio

Jumping over to modder news – 82 Studio has submitted 4x mods for testing; 3x updates and 1x new. The TLX 3500, 2022, and 1982 Special will all be getting updates, and the new TLX Haulers Platform Pack is finished and ready to go! This bed pack will turn your favorite TLX truck into a true workhorse, with 5th wheel, tow truck, & more! As always, these mods are for all platforms – however with the wait time on modhub, it could be another week or more before we see them on the testing list.

Karl Farms

Next – Karl Farms dropped a bomb on Friday, with the Case IH 715 Steiger Wheeled Version! Using the new 715 quadrac model and its features, including Hood, Cab, and Rear 3-point hitch, they have created a wheel version, which actually hasn’t been announced by Case IH at this time! So, Karl is using it as a prototype for now. Can you imagine Farm Sim getting something before real farmers? That’s wild! 

It will be released as a separate mod from the 715 with tracks that we have now, and will have all the same options, and the same wheeled configurations as his AFS Steigers. However, the K9 Dozer Blade will not be compatible because the hood on the 715 is too wide. Currently, the model is almost done, and they should have it submitted for testing sometime this week!

Custom Modding

Speaking of Custom Modding, they have submitted their John Deere 9R Series for testing for all platforms. We’ve heard about this mod for what feels like forever now, and it’s now in the hands of Giants QA! I can’t wait to see it!

HR Forst

Moving on – HR Forst have submitted a new mod to Giants for testing on all platforms; a Tatra Phoenix Double Cab! HR is calling it Frankenstein! (haha) The Tatra is one of my favorite semi trucks in Farm Sim, and I’m excited to see a fully custom version being made, especially by HR Forst! The double cab is basically just 2x cabins mounted back to back, with a cage built around them. 

They’ve shown it off with a crane and wood-chipper mounted to the back, as well as a spare wheel, but I’m kinda hoping to see a version without the attachment as well, though they didn’t say anything about that. Just being hopeful! There will also be a custom Fliegl ASW 271 trailer to match, as seen in these screenshots!

Bcbuhler Farms

Bcbuhler Farms dropped some information about their Phiber Dash Trailers – The Little Dash is now working, but there are a few things that still need to be fixed up, like;

• Setting up fertilizer mixing & unloading capabilities
• A simple pump with no mixing option
• And testing

Bcbuhler is also looking at adding a Manure System version for PC, which it appears he was planning to do a PC-Only version after the Crossplay-Version is released anyway, so this works out perfect! 

Jos Modding

Jos Modding is back with us, and is updating the Liftable Pallets and Big Bags mod! This will be the first update since Summer of 2022, and he’ll be;

• New pallets and big bags, like the Helm Fertilizer
• And fixing tree saplings pallets that allow tree-type selection

Adub Modding

Next up – Adub Modding looks to be working on a roller! But not the type that rolls your fields, though it might do that… this is a Steam Roller! Or Road Roller, Compaction Roller, Pavement Roller… whatever you want to call it. No specifics yet, just a nice little teaser! There’s actually a lego set of this exact thing! Fun Fact!

Adub is also updating the Massey MF23 Cultivator to version 1.1;

• Fix floating decals
• More colors
• And Clean up i3d and xml

Additionally, the MF SD-2 Plow will be updated to version 1.3;

• Fix foliage bending
• Add more colors
• And removed unneeded meshes for decals

And lastly, their MF Weight Pack is almost done, featuring 2x weights that work in combination with each other, as well as separate, and they will be sent off for testing on all platforms soon. These are all mods that were part of the Old Gen Massey Pack in FS17, and are coming back piece by piece!

Blacksheep Modding

It’s no secret that Blacksheep Modding creates some awesome buildings for their maps. And soon you’ll be able to use them on whatever map you want, with the BlackSheep Maps Buildings Pack. 

They say there will be over 60 placeable items, and teased 56 of them, including;

• Animals barns
• Sheds
• Fences and gates
• Gardens
• Trees
• Houses
• And even productions!

Recreate your favorite farm from Old Stream on The Valley The Old Farm, or make something totally your own! Sometimes it’s hard to get excited about sheds, but Blacksheep knows how to make it happen!

Mappers Paradise / Celobuki

Remember last week when I said that Mappers Paradise and Celobuki were teaming up to bring the Monette Seeds Complex to Farm Sim 22? Yeah, that’s not entirely true… because they are bringing that AND a whole new map to the game! So the complex, the house, and something very cool… a new John Deere Dealer! Pattison Agriculture! 

This is a real business all over Saskatchewan and Manitoba; just north of Montana, North Dakota, and Minnesota. They are a John Deere Dealer, and will be featured on the New Monette Seeds Map! Super Cool!

Lancyboi

And lastly today, Lancyboi shared a few screenshots from the British map that he’s working on. This is a fictional map, going back to his old routes of mapping from when he first started! As mentioned last Friday, he says this map will showcase what he’s learned in Blender and with animations, and will feature new and unique builds and models. 

It will feature new animals and be for all platforms. We don’t have a name yet, but stay tuned for more info on this and all the biggest news and top stories going on, in the world of Farming Simulator!
